These are made and painted to order. There are three basic designs, a flat board with hinged supports which can fit the fireplace exactly ( see No. 2 reading from left to right) or No. 7, not an exact fit. Flat, but shaped round a particular design (see Nos. 3 or 5) thirdly in the form of a tryptych (see Nos. 6,8 or 10). Again, the shape can be made to order.
